Attorney Henry C. Ide brings a wealth of legal knowledge and experience to the firm. He has been in the private practice of law in the Hartford, Connecticut area since he was admitted to the Connecticut Bar in 1968. He focuses his practice on civil litigation, representing small businesses, condominium associations, title insurance companies and individuals in a variety of litigation matters including personal injury, commercial disputes, and maritime matters.
In addition to civil litigation, Attorney Ide’s practice also encompasses commercial and residential real estate transactions, estate planning and estate administration matters. Since 1999, Attorney Ide has served as an arbitrator, attorney trial referee and fact-finder in the Hartford Judicial District. He also is a member of the Hartford County Bar Association.
Attorney Ide is a former JAG attorney, having served eight years as a member of the Navy’s Judge Advocate General Corp. He retired as a Lieutenant Commander with the United States Navy Reserve after serving five years on active duty with the U.S. Navy followed by seventeen years with the Navy Reserve.
